Sometimes, mama, we can all get overwhelmed and just prefer a little extra guidance. That is what I do as a health coach- provide sound teaching, help you in setting specific and doable goals, and cheer you on from the sidelines as you begin to make the lifestyle changes you desire for your family! I have been trying to lose inches and some pounds for years!! I’ve never been a very big person but somehow gaining a little weight sticks to me in a way that has made me very self conscious of my body and of what I wear. I am so fortunate to have worked with Kristen LaValley. She is clearly knowledgeable and has a huge passion for what she does. Following her steps and guidance, I was able to meet my goal and lose 10 pounds with the ability to keep it off! I was nervous about the discipline part of it all but Kristen was very good at following up and motivating me throughout the week. Interactions with her were always very genuine; like hanging out with a long time friend. I was always excited for my sessions with her. Through Kristen’s holistic approach, I was not only able to change my eating habits, but was also able to improve quality of life in areas important to my overall mental health. In my journey to improve my health I hired Kristen to become my health coach. As a retired LPN I realized good nutrition and supplements were essential to improve the quality of my life but I needed more information. Kristen gave me the how and why, including information to aid me in better sleep and how deep sleep is vital for health and healing. Kristen was readily available to answer any questions I had and to encourage me to make and obtain goals, also being prompt in returning calls or texts. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable and it didn’t take long to consider her not only my health coach but a friend. Kristen motivated me greatly and encouraged me to set and reach goals. I would highly recommend her to become your health coach.
Kristen LaValley is my health coach, and my biggest takeaway is that eating healthy makes you feel good. Our family did not like Brussels sprouts and now we love them after the way that Kristen taught me to cook them. Another thing that I learned is that fresh is always better. I have learned to read the labels on items to make sure that I am reading what is in the product and making sure I am picking the all natural/organic items. Teaching me which produce is in season and which meats are better for me has been great. When I go to the store I am more conscious now as to what I want to put in my body. Kristen is always there to help with any question that I may have. She is also great with guiding me in the right direction. I appreciate and love her support through my health struggles. It is a work in progress, but Kristen has helped me get started and to stay on track.
