Harry Potter Themed Taco Stacks

If your kids are crazy about Harry Potter, they will never complain eating Harry Potter Themed Taco Stacks! Many kids are picky about what they want to eat. Most of the “kid-friendly” foods are based on a cartoon, movie, book, etc. Harry Potter Taco Stacks are a way to make adults and kids happy. Who needs to buy expensive movie-themed foods when you can make healthy food and add the theme yourself? Kids can have fun labeling the foods and helping to cook up this easy dish.

What You Will Need For Your Harry Potter Themed Taco Stacks:

1 lb. ground beef (double recipe if your family is big)

1 can refried beans

Guacamole

Salsa

Lettuce

Cheese

Sour cream

Tortilla chips

Supplies

Platters with bowls/charcuterie board (with divots)

Stands (optional)

Labels (see below)

Spoons

How to Prepare Harry Potter Taco Stacks:

First, cook your ground beef and season to preference with taco seasoning. Then, heat refried beans, make guacamole, grate cheese, and cut or tear lettuce. Print out the pdf below. Cut the labels and slide into stands (if using) and/or fold, whichever you like. Printables are spaced so they can be folded in half if not using stands.

After assembling labels and food, get out your favorite platters or Harry Potter themed platters.

First, place ground beef on platter of choice and label it “Niffler Poo”.

Place sour cream and salsa into small bowls. Label “Unicorn Poo” and “Ashwinder Coals”.

Spoon guacamole into bowl and label “Basilisk Slime”. Place bowls onto a platter and fill in with tortilla chips. Label them “Invisibility Cloaks”.

Now, add cheese and lettuce into a platter. Label them “Unicorn Horn Shavings” and “Sprout’s Mandrake”.

The refried beans should be named “Sludge Potion”.

How to Layer Your Harry Potter Taco Stack:

First, place Invisibility Cloaks in the bottom of bowl. Next, add Niffler Poo on top.

Sprinkle Sprout’s Mandrake around the Niffler Poo. Now, add Sludge Potion on top.

Next, sprinkle on Unicorn Horn Shavings. Add Unicorn Poo and Basilisk Slime in little mounds. Finally, add Ashwinder Coals on top.
